This research, published by the Developmental Medicine and Child Neurology (DMCN), co-designed a social prescribing intervention for children with cerebral palsy, their families, and clinicians to address their needs.

Addressing unmet social needs is critical to providing high-quality, family-centered health care—an approach that fosters a partnership between families and clinicians in healthcare decision-making. There is growing interest in standardized clinical pathways that identify and address these needs as part of holistic family-centered care.
