This resource from the journal Pediatric Physical Therapy introduces a fidelity tool designed to assist clinicians in assessing alignment with cerebral palsy clinical guidelines aimed at improving physical function. A fidelity measure is one such strategy that can be used alongside knowledge translation approaches to help clinicians improve their practices.

Recent clinical practice guidelines for improving physical function in children and young people with cerebral palsy were developed through extensive international consultation. However, a significant gap often exists between current evidence and clinical practice, limiting access to optimal care for clients. To close this gap, targeted implementation strategies must be adopted to ensure these guidelines are effectively integrated into clinical practice.
