This research published in the Developmental Medicine and Child Neurology (DMCN) journal, explores how early interventions for young children with cerebral palsy incorporate 'F-words.'

Limited research exists on addressing the complex health needs of young non-ambulant children with cerebral palsy. However, the International Classification of Functioning framework and the 'F-words'—functioning, family, fitness, fun, friends, and future—support a holistic, participation-focused approach.
