This research published in the Developmental Medicine and Child Neurology (DMCN) journal examines the relationships between various bone characteristics—such as bone mineral density, bone mineral content, and bone area - and fractures in adults with cerebral palsy.

Understanding bone fragility in adults with cerebral palsy requires examining its structural causes. Limited knowledge exists on how underdeveloped skeletal growth affects fragility beyond bone mineral density (BMD) throughout adulthood.
