This resource from the Disability and Rehabilitation journal, examines the causes, contributing factors, and consequences of falls among adults with CP.

Accelerated ageing in people with cerebral palsy (CP) is associated with an increased risk of falls, driven largely by progressive declines in mobility, balance, and stamina. Australian evidence shows that falls are common even among middle-aged adults with so-called mild CP, including those with hemiplegia and diplegia. More than 80% of adults with CP report declining mobility, and over 95% experience at least one fall within 12 months.
