In this video from CanChild [Canada], adolescents and young adults with cerebral palsy often have similar goals and aspirations to their peers, but may experience additional challenges such as chronic pain, fatigue, anxiety, depression and stress.

In this CanChild workshop, Dr Jan Willem Gorter discusses preliminary findings from the MyStory study, which explores physical health, mental health and overall wellbeing among adolescents and young adults with cerebral palsy in Ontario. The workshop also considers the impact of COVID-19 on mental health and shares resources to support young people with cerebral palsy and their families.
