This resource from the journal of Disability and Rehabilitation presents the outcomes of a practitioner-led, peer-group sports intervention for children with CP.

Despite the benefits of sports participation, research shows there is a gap in intervention programs that aim to support children with disabilities such as CP to transition from individual physiotherapy into team-based recreational or competitive sports. To address this gap, a team of Australian researchers developed Sports Stars, a practitioner-led, peer-group sports intervention that includes popular land-based team sports.
