This research published by the British Journal of General Practice journal, reports the results of a national online survey, which explored how adults with cerebral palsy experience ageing.

As people with cerebral palsy age, they experience physiological changes at an accelerated rate, which differ from those changes experienced in childhood or adolescence. These changes can include a deterioration in mobility, an increase in pain and fatigue, and an increase in falls and fractures.
